About Gypsy Grip

Hi, this is Joe, I'm the one writing this. I am also the leather craftsperson who makes Gypsy Grips. The idea behind them came from my Dad, Charlie, however. He's the handsome looking chap in the Django t-shirt on the home page looking for his pick under the sofa. He wanted something that would keep his picks safe. Ideally somewhere on his guitars and that would look good to boot.

The concept came together over a few weekends and an initial design we settled on. It needed to go on easily but hold on to the machine heads well. It took 5 revisions to get it perfected and Charlie has been using them on all his guitars for most of 2024.
